ABOUT
Cloud Croft Studios is located five miles south of Owego, NY on the outskirts of the scenic Finger Lakes region of upstate NY.

Cloud Croft Studios consists of the barn studio spaces, the 1890 one-room school house and 90 acres of scenic property.
We offer spaces for artists to give classes or host exhibits. We are proud to promote our daughter's Pilates business and
our daughter-in-laws skin care business (links above) which continue our family's committment to a healthy life style.

We make our barn available to the Tioga Arts Council to host the Everyday Life - Every Day Art regional juried art show every year. Proceeds from sales of exhibited art are split 80% to the artist and 20% to the Art A La Carte program to provide art projects and materials to children in conjunction with the summer lunch program. The shows attracts approximately 80 artists annually to submit over 200 pieces of art which are juried. The judges review results in approximately 200 excellent examples of the quality of art our region has to offer. Contact the Tioga Arts Council (link above) if you are interested in joining our group of sponsors for this wonderful event.

Contact us if you, as an artist, are interested in renting the "environment" either to get away and re-invigorate your art for yourself, as a complete venue to offer your classes in, or as a unique gallery to hold your own personal show.

HISTORY
Cloud Croft Studios is the latest reincarnation of the early 19th century barn raised on the lands of Eli and Betsy Gibson after they arrived here in 1812 from Stowe, Massachusetts to settle the area which become known as Gibson Corners. The tombstones of Eli and Betsy can be found in the cemetery directly across the road from the barn.
